Our experienced yoga instructors bring years of knowledge and expertise to the mat, enabling them to lead sessions that are both challenging and safe. Their deep understanding of anatomy, poses, and breathing techniques means that they can help students achieve optimal alignment while also providing modifications for individuals who need them.

Audrey PSY

Audrey Eglajs

Audrey began her practice of yoga over a decade ago after developing chronic injuries. After
personally experiencing the physical and psychological benefits of yoga she became inspired to
teach.
She completed her RYT 200 hour YTT with Ana McCabe, and went on to complete intensive
training in Restorative Yoga with Alana Mitnick and Yin Yoga with the legendary Bernie Clark.
She teaches Yin and Flow classes emphasizing functional mobility for students of all levels. 

Lisa Feeney

Lisa Feeney has completed her RYT 200-hour teacher training and is certified by the Yoga Alliance to teach Hatha Yoga and AIReal Yoga. She is certified to teach Accessible Yoga and Curvy Yoga and is currently finishing her certification in Silver Sneakers to expand her ability to offer the benefits of regular yoga practice to a wider range of students. She is passionate about helping students discover the benefits of developing a personal yoga practice regardless of age, size, ability, or fitness level.

Portside Studio welcomes yoga Instructor Mark Thayer to the team

Mark Thayer

Mark began the path of a teacher in 2018 and is now 200hr RYT Yoga Alliance certified in Kundalini and Hatha yoga as well as a 40hr IKYTA certification with yoga for youth. Interestingly, Mark has shifted work to the Healthcare industry also, adding additional certifications of nurse assistant, (CNA) and Home Health Aide, (HHA) to his training which has given him a unique perspective as a teacher.

Klaudia Paletta

Klaudia is a bilingual Meditation, Registered Yoga Teacher and Sound Bath facilitator. She leads sound baths, accessible yoga classes and meditation sessions across Ventura and Los Angeles county with the intention of meeting folks where they are. Klaudia is also the Co-Founder of Primas Colectivas, a yoga and wellness collective dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship and positive representation for Latinas.

Heloise Gonzalez

Héloïse is from Switzerland and has traveled around and lived in a few different countries. Growing up with the Alps, the mountains are her biggest inspiration and where she feels most at home. She has been practicing yoga for about a decade and has completed RYT-200 hours. A martial artist, she likes to connect to the strength of the heart and the energy of the warrior yet has a calm and gentle presence, enjoying marrying together a strong spine and a gentleness tapping into a powerful and calm grounding.
