Our yoga studio is located directly on the waterfront at Portside Ventura Harbor - 947 Schooner Drive Unit 211, Ventura, CA 93001. We are only a 5-minute drive from the 101 Freeway with abundant and free parking. Our second floor location at the Portside Plaza Shops provides us with stunning sunset views each and every evening.
We will be featuring Vinyasa Flow, Gentle Flow, Restorative, Yin, Accessible, Intro/New to Yoga, Stretch, and Yoga Nidra classes each week. With the intentions of creating a safe space to practice and create community and friendship, all levels are welcome. Some classes will be live streamed and recorded for later sharing.
Events occurring monthly will include Sound Baths, Reiki/Restorative Yoga, Special Workshops, and Sunset and Full Moon gatherings and waterfront meditation.
DONNA DIMEO
A former Broadway dancer, Donna E-RYT 200 has been a professional Yoga Instructor since 2000 and is blessed with a diverse group of clients of all age groups. Her teachers and mentors, Maty Ezraty and Lisa Walford both shared the legacy, technique and inspiration of their teachers which has enabled Donna to bring an alignment-based and balanced flow to both her life and teaching practice. Drawing from years of exploration in various styles and disciplines as both a practitioner and an instructor, she incorporates the union of breath and movement to facilitate a deeper awareness of the joy that lives in our hearts.
Classes range from beginner to advanced Vinyasa Flow and Restorative Yoga (Relax and Renew Certification with Judith Lasater). Classes and privates in Aireal Yoga which is the only form of Aerial Yoga using a hammock as a prop recognized by Yoga Alliance are available upon request. Donna has led a 200 hour Teacher Training Certification at this Studio as well. She is Level I Certified in The Urban Zen Integrative Modality Program through Yogaworks, is a Master Level Reiki practitioner, and certified to lead Yoga Nidra.
Most weekday afternoons, you will find Donna leading yoga classes at The Ranch Malibu, an exclusive fitness and wellness program located in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains.
A lifelong fan of Europe, Donna has led Yoga Retreats in exotic places like Lucca, Italy with www.yogainitaly.com.
Donna has appeared on the educational series, "Naturally, Danny Seo" on NBC in the Ranch Reboot episode Season One, is featured in the Summer 2017 and Fall 2017 issues of Naturally, Danny Seo Magazine and is a content contributor to various online magazines.
Born and raised in New York City, Donna DiMeo’s professional dance background includes training at the “Famed” NYC High School of Performing Arts, The Joffrey Ballet School, and The Alvin Ailey American Dance Center School. Donna has performed around the world with many Dance Companies, is a member of the original Broadway cast of Jerome Robbins’ Broadway, performed in the National and International Tours of the musical West Side Story directed by Alan Johnson, as well as many television appearances on Saturday Night Live and The Tony Awards to name a few.
